Effective January 2009 - Unit leaders are now able to submit local and national tour permits electronically through their MyScouting account. This new system takes just four easy steps, and it will save the transportation and training information, so leaders can easily recall it for future permit applications.

MyScouting PortalAbout Online Tour Permits

The Online Tour Permits system allows you to enter all of the information required for each tour, and submit your application. Each tour permit, once submitted, will receive a unique tour identification number with tracking based on permit submittal and approval. Special features will assist you with the entry of driver information for transportation and adult leadership qualifications and training will be included. This information will be saved and be ready for use with your next permit application.

There will be automatic notification at all appropriate steps. Each person who is to receive e-mail notification will be required to have account. Once a permit is approved, an e-mail will be sent with the approved Tour Permit as a PDF.

MyScouting PortalAccessing Tour Permits Online
