Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge is happy to invite scouts to our new monthly SCOUT DAY!
What: Scouts can attend a FREE, two-hour event to help them earn various badges. SCOUT DAY is for Wolf, Bear, and Webelo Cub Scouts and Brownie and Junior Girl Scouts. The programs are aligned with the wildlife-related badge requirements outlined in the scouting handbooks for each group and include nature crafts and a short hike!
When: 1:00-3:00pm on the first Saturday of every month (beginning January 5th 2008)
Where: Deer Flat National Wildlife Refuge Center at Lake Lowell
FYI: Troops and individual scouts need to register at least a week in advance. Scout leaders making reservations should account for accompanying parents or siblings and give us a total number of people attending to help us plan better
